CECA President's Message
A Message from President - Joseph Kerr
The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association is an association that spans the distance of this great country and is as diverse as the people that live within its boundaries. From the awe inspiring splendor of the western provinces where regular meetings are held to the beautiful eastern region we insure that all matters of concern that effect our members, industry and people are represented to the fullest and in the most professional manner possible.
We provide our members with the opportunity to participate at multiple levels within our organization. Levels that include working with Provincial Governments, Authorities having Jurisdictions, National Codes, International Associations just to mention a few. Through regular meetings, multiple committees and national conventions CECA Members enjoy access to information on the vertical transportation industry unequalled in this country. This alone assists them to make business decisions in an informed and consistent manner and the opportunity to effect change in areas where it is needed.
I entreat our current members to stay active and engaged as the return you receive from your membership is directly related to your involvement. To those that are not members, I ask that you reflect what consideration you are given in the areas I mentioned here standing by yourself and how much more strength you have in an industry united from one coast to the other by people just like yourself working hard to make each year better.
